Kolorcraft Chevy w/ Mat Seely & Kiya Blood
A last hurrah for this ‘55 Chevy Sedan Wagon.
All images from October 3rd, 2020 in Geneva, NY
The whole point of any of this was to document the last vehicle a gentleman named Lenny Smith painted before his passing. I never had the pleasure of meeting him, but he impressed me with the work on this Chevy.
At the time, the current owner was planning a major overhaul of the vehicle- Mat did not know if the candy flames would stay. Before it went under the knife, Mat threw on some Cragars & 520s and we set off with Kiya on Saturday afternoon.
I’m pretty sure Mat bought dinner after the sun went down, halfway through this 5 hour jaunt around Geneva.
Not here. Unfortunately, I have never eaten at The Deluxe (let alone stepped foot inside). Maybe we ate at The Rusty Pig? Couldn’t tell ya, 6 years on.
Finishing the night at Rod Tech in Hall, NY. Mat has worked here for over 20 years. I think they put an LT4 into this one, not sure what the exterior looked like when they were done. If I get any pictures from Mat I will add them below.
